Pa Akindayomi is the founder of the popular Redeemed Christian Church of God. Initially, he was a polygamist with three wives but when he became a full time Pastor with full understanding of the scripture, he sent the last two wives packing.

Although, he divorced his last two wives, he always take proper care of his children. Pa Josiah Akindayomi died on Akindayomi died on November 2, 1980 and left just 5 children out of his many children.
