Christianity as a religion encompasses people who have dedicated themselves to live a life after Christ, to follow the teachings of Christ. Following this teaching is indeed tasking but, is it enough to go to church and be called a Christian? Ask yourself this question.
Many a times we call ourselves Christians just because we feel we have fulfilled the dictates and commitments we have with our churches, forgetting to serve Christ, but does this make you a Christian?
When we cause division among God's people when Christ himself prayed for the unity of all, when we bring unnecessary divisions among Christ's faithful, does that make us Christians?
When we begin to think that our riches are enough for us, when we begin to think that to worship God is at our own disposal and when we feel we can manipulate God with our riches, ask yourself am I a Christian?
When we neglect the poor and the oppressed, when we trample upon their rights, when we infringe upon their rights does that really make us Christians?
When we feel to worship God is to be hypocritical, when we display external piety and devotion but internally we do otherwise, does that make us Christians?
When we judge others to be sinners and we see ourselves as being righteous and the only ones who can go to heaven, does that actually make us Christians?
WHAT THEN MAKES US CHRISTIANS?
What really makes us Christians is living and following the teachings of Christ, and this teaching Christ summarized into LOVE OF GOD & LOVE OF NEIGHBOR, Christianity is imbedded in this.
Let us be True Christians!
