Avoid These 3 Habits That Can Provoke God's Anger Upon You As A Christian

Some habits can provoke God's anger upon your life, no matter how anointed you might be because he is no respecter of persons. According to various bible stories, these habits have compelled God to unleash his wrath without mercy, which in turn led to the destruction of the masses, and it would not be a new thing if God does the same in your life.

However, you must avoid the following habits if you don't want God's anger that can lead to destruction to be upon your life. They include;

1. The Habit Complaining And Murmuring

Complaining can be as deadly as you least expected. God hates complaints, and when it becomes your habit, destruction is set to await you.

One of the biblical stories that show how destructive the act of complaining and murmuring can be is that of the children of Israel and Moses in the wilderness.

According to the story in the book of Numbers 14: 26 - 35, most of the children of Israel complained, and they were destroyed as a result.

Also, the book of 1 Corinthians 10: 10 warns every believer about the habit of murmuring, and the consequence that follows thereafter.

If you want to avoid God's anger upon your life, learn to stay away from the habit of complaining.

2. Disobedience

Another habit that can provoke God's anger upon your life is disobedience. Adam and Eve were deprived of the goodness in the garden of Eden as a result of disobedience.

Saul was also rejected as the king in the book of 1 Samuel 15: 22 - 28 due to his disobedience to God. It is better to obey God than to sacrifice your life as a consequence of disobedience.

The same way a natural man/father would be angry when he is being disobeyed, it is also the same way God's anger would be provoked when you follow disobedience.

3. Pride

God resists the proud. Pride can bring about the downfall of a man's life and destiny. Satan the devil was cast out from heaven as a result of pride - Isaiah 14: 12 & 13.

Pride is when you take the glory that belongs to God, and refusing to pay due acknowledgment to him. Several biblical personalities including Nebuchadnezzar, and Herod all suffered due to pride.

It is wise to stay clear from the above habits, and you'll successfully avoid God's anger in your life.
