To understand your human nature, you need to study God. The reason is not
far-fetched that you were created in the image of God. The Almighty is Triune. That means he is 3-in-1. This is as simple as ABC. His first personality is referred to as God the Father, the second one is God the son and the third is God the Holy Spirit. Some may argue this unchangeable fact because it is quite complicating to refer to one person as three.
Of course one person can be three. Apart from God, every human being has three personalities: spirit, soul and body. In other words, you are created in the image of God. Just as he is 3-in-1, so are you.
The moment you realize your nature is inherent in God, the moment you begin to relate all other aspect of your nature to him. If you study the word of God, you will
understand everything about your shadow.
Shadow is part of God’s nature. Take a look below…
"But I am the Lord your God, Who divided the sea whose waves roared— The Lord of hosts is His name.
And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, And say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’”
Isaiah 51 5-16 Nkjv
As you’ve read above, God protected the children of Israel with the shadow of his hands. As long as they were under his shadow, no evil befell them. The Israelites testified to the protection of Jehovah — under the shadow of his wings, which is his hand — when they left Egypt.
So, you got your shadow from God as you were created in his image.
In addition, anything that is bestowed on you will be evident in your shadow. If you receive a new anointing from Jehovah, it will flow to this part of you. If you are weak, this part of you will be weak. Everything that affects you will definitely affect your shadow. The people who witnessed the life of Apostle Peter knew about this aspect of human nature so much that
they brought the sick near Peter so that his
shadow could come in contact with them. His shadow healed people. Take a look below…
So that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and
couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.
Acts 5:15 Nkjv.
Consequently, your shadow is part of your nature. It will achieve anything you are capable of achieving.
You are more powerful than you think you are. Never underestimate or underrate your ability in Christ.
Have you ever taken a look at your shadow before? What comes to your mind whenever
you see it?
