The General Overseer of Living Faith Chapel a.k.a Winners Bishop David Oyedepo on live-streamed video shared a video message with the public.
While speaking the cleric reportedly stated that "The larger our giving capacity, the larger our coast of blessings from where you are. He said " I started sending things to my parents from 5 Naira. This is to tell you that from where you are, you can do something for your parent. Because I believe Some of you here don't even know they have parents.
Speaking further he said " When our income was N18,000 plus in 1984 for the whole year, my tithe was there. And this is to tell you that If you are not faithful in little, you will never be adjudged to be qualified for much. 1 Timothy 6: 17-19 says "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they are not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they are rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Speaking further he said "When people say they have made it, it is wealth that they are talking about. And most times when you Check the humanitarian impact of these people - they are not believers. My point is this! All these principles of wealth we are teaching depend on each one's capacity to let go. Because God won't let in what you won't let go. And will not tempt anybody with evil. Whether you're a founder, an Apostle, or Prophet.
