Death is one of the Biblical conditions for marital separation. No matter how much you love your partner, the moment death takes him/her away, the love ends. In Christianity, remarrying is allowed as long as you are no longer with your former wife/husband.
In Nigeria, we have many pastors who have remarried. Some remarried after divorcing their wife while others remarried after the death of their wife. In today's article, we shall be concentrating on those who remarried after the death of their wife.
1. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya
Pastor Odukoya the founder of the Fountain of Life Bible Church is one of those who remarried among Nigerian Pastors. In 2005, he lost his wife Bimbo Odukoya during the Sosoliso Plane crash. After her death, the Pastor didn't remarry until after 5 years.
In 2010, the man of God found his second love in South Africa. He got married to Rosemary Nomthi in 2010 and they have been good together.
2. Pastor W.F Kumuyi.
The founder of the Deeper Life Bible Church who is currently married to his second wife lost his first wife some years ago. Sister Abiodun Kumuyi Died in 2009. After her death, the man of God waited for about 18 months before remarrying.
In October 2010, the man of God got married to Adenike Esther Folashade Baize in London. His marriage to the former Administrator of the Deeper Life Church in London was on a low key as it was only witnessed by top men of God and others in London.
3. Pastor David Adeoye
The Founder of Royalty Christian Center is another pastor on our list. Pastor Adeoye was married without any child before the death of his wife. He was married to Folake for 13 years before she eventually died. According to him, he wasn't intending to remarry as he was thinking of child adoption but he later thought it wise to remarry.
His marriage to Sunmbo Ajaba, the then single mother who had two kids for 2Face Idibia took public critics but the man of God followed his heart. According to him, he has no regrets about marrying Sunmbo.
