Sheikh Baleelah leads Jumu'ah prayer in Mecca (See photos)

The congregational Jumu'ah prayers were successfully held in the Masjid Al Haram, earlier today without any hitches.

The Masjid al-Haram, also known as the Great Mosque of Mecca, is a mosque that surrounds the Kaaba in Mecca, in the Makkah Province of Saudi Arabia.

The Jumu'ah prayer was led by one of the prominent imams of the mosque, Sheikh Bandar Baleelah. He also delivered the usual Friday sermon.

In his sermon, the Imam talked about some virtuous qualities a Muslim should possess. He was quoted as saying, "Some of the most virtuous and enlightening qualities to foster within oneself are: remaining highly motivated, having strong resolve and maintaining high aspirations. These qualities prompt a person to occupy himself with the greatest of aims, strive for completion, and focusing on the desired outcome such that nothing which gets in the way would seem too much to overcome"
