Pastors Seem To Have Forgotten Their Purpose; This Is What The Bible Asks Of Them

Message To Every Pastor Worldwide

Nowadays, Christianity is being tainted by Pastors because they seem to have forgotten their purpose.

Pastors who are supposed to portray the image of Jesus Christ, and preach the gospel to the people are now abusing the gospel.

They have become lovers of money and want to have money at all cost, forgetting that they will die one day and leave the money behind.

Some who are supposed to preach against adultery and fornication are the ones perpetrating the immoral act. What a shame!

Besides, many Pastors are not humble like Christ. A typical example are the ones in the pictures below whose members are kneeling to welcome him. Who are you to be knelt down to? Have you forgotten that Christ washed the feet of his disciple?

This is a rallying cry to every Pastor out there who seems to have forgotten their purpose. You are advised to make amends and return to the Lord before it is too late.

However, there are many Pastors who are still steadfast and unmovable, and fulfilling the great commission. My prayer is that God will uphold you till the end in Jesus name.

Going back to the Pastors who seem to have forgotten their purpose. You know yourselves. Therefore, read these verses of the Holy Bible painstakingly in order to remember what is asked of you by your Father in heaven.

1 Timothy 3:7

The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?

1 Peter 5:1-4

So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
