Evening Prayer For A Spirit Of Wisdom and Understanding, Today (20/07/2020)

Often life throws up new challenges such as becoming a parent, facing a test or starting a new job. In such times we shall want to seek God for his wisdom and discernment, to clear away the confusion and bring his clarity and guidance. The good news is that God promises in scripture that he will give wisdom to those who ask God to help him.

Throughout Scripture we are reminded of God’s direction over our lives. He is our good Shepherd who leads us and He desires that we follow the path that leads to joy and contentment. When we pray for God’s wisdom and for discernment through the Holy Spirit, we can rest assured that God will provide wisdom, we do not have to worry about our next step or about tomorrow because we know who guides our way, do not rush your day without going before God to seek guidance.

Father, My dependency is in you. This Evening please come and be centre stage in my life. I offer you everything I am about to work with my intelligence, I ask that you will help me although, this Evening

Lord, I’m here today with open hands and an open heart, ready to depend on you to help me through the day and all it will bring my way. Help me be like Nehemiah, help me come to you for guidance, strength, provision and protection. As I face tough choices and hard situations, help me remember my belovedness, help me remember that I am Your child and Your representative to the world around me. Help me live today in a way that brings honor to Your holy name. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, Gives us wisdom to make wide decision in choosing this evening, we have favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight of you and man with the utility companies, with the school system, and with the bank and with every seeking for your wisdom.

We trust in you, father, with all of our hearts. We lean not our own understanding, but in all of our ways we acknowledge you, and you shall direct our paths.

Thank you, father, for your blessing this evening. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
