All the dreadful diseases enumerated in Deuteronomy Chapter 28 are a part of the punishment for breaking God's Law. It says so in verse 61. Well, they should come upon us, because we have all sinned: " For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". Those diseases should come upon us, but, thank God, Jesus took our place to redeem us from sickness!
In the King James Version, one would be led to believe that God Himself puts sickness and afflictions upon His people. For example, Deuteronomy 28:22 says that the Lord will smite thee. But you can not just skim across the surface of the Bible and find out what it is saying.
Where would God get the sickness to put on you, anyway? There is not any sickness in Heaven. He would have to steal it first, before He could put it on you, because He does not have any.
Do you believe that God put sickness on people? I will love to see your thoughts in the comments section.
