From January till now, death has laid its hands on some famous clerics in Nigeria.

Recently, Nigeria lost a prominent Pastor who was the wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, less than 2 months to the end of 2021.

Below are 5 prominent Nigerian Pastors who died in 11months of 2021.

Pastor Emmanuel Folorunso Abina

The son of General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), Emmanuel Folorunso Abina, died at age 53. Pastor Folorunsho Abina reportedly passed away on 28th April 2021 after a brief illness.

Pastor Emmanuel Folorunsho Abina was the pioneer pastor of the Kingdom House Assembly of Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), FESTAC, Lagos State.

Pastor, Dare Adeboye

Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third child of Pastor Enoch Adeboye died at the age of 42. He reportedly died in his sleep without any symptom of sickness. Pastor Dare Adeboye died on May 4th, 2021.

Pastor Dare Adeboye would have been 43 years old in June 2021.

He is survived by his wife and three children.

Pastor Stephen Akinola

The general superintendent of Redemption Ministries, Reverend Stephen Akinola reportedly died in a hospital on Sunday 6th June 2021 in Abuja for his second kidney transplant. The Pastor spent many months in India for the kidney transplant but didn’t work out.

Prophet T.B Joshua

Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua was the founder and senior Prophet of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN). He was a Nigerian televangelist, charismatic pastor, and philanthropist. The Nigerian televangelist, popularly known as Prophet T.B. Joshua was born on 12th June 1963 and reportedly died on Saturday, 5th June 2021 in Lagos after a service at his church in Ikotun.

Pastor Nomthi Odukoya

Pastor Rosemary Nomthi Odukoya, the second wife of Senior Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was a writer, life coach, educationist, and senior pastor at the Fountain of Life Church.

The 47-year-old Pastor died on Tuesday, 9th November 2021 after battling cancer for two years.
