Exercise a little more patient.

"Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him. Come make us God's that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him" (Exodus 32:1).

Impatience is a dangerous thing in life which has led many people to their destruction and early graves. It is unfortunate that many people venture into so many destructive paths and adventures because of lack of patience.

People are always in a hurry and always find themselves rushing in and out of God's presence, even in and out of marriage. We are in a quickie generation, where everybody want to follow the shortcut towards achieving success and greatness. But impatience with God leads to disaster and death.

God expects us to trust Him in all things and to stop counting the time The account of the Gold Calf is one deciding events in the life of Israel as they moved towards nationhood. God had invited Moses to commune with Moses and give him divine instructions that will guide them to becoming a great nation but the wickedness in the heart of the children of Israel made them to feel impatient and uncomfortable with the delay of Moses in returning from the mountain which was less than 40 days. This impatient act of the Israelites led to their destruction and death.

God expects us to trust in Him in all things, to be patient and to stop counting time. I know God's blessings will be ours if we do so.
