The 2023 election has been conducted and results have been announced but a lot of Nigerians, especially the youths, are lamenting that the election was not conducted in the manner they had expected. As a result, the General Overseer of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, spoke via a video on his Facebook page and encouraged Nigerians. He said we did not go out to vote or labour in vain and that God will reward us.
From 2 minutes and 34 seconds in the video, Pastor Enenche said, "We didn't waste our time, we didn't waste our effort, we did not labour in vain, we did not go out to vote in vain. In our love for our nation and the future God has for us, we did everything we could do and God is not unrighteous to forget us. Therefore, God will reward us".
He referred to Jeremiah 29:11 which reads, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, and to give you an expected end", and said they should sleep on the words and use them to comfort themselves.
