7 Biblical Recommendations On Getting Wealthy

Everyone seems to be in the race to become wealthy. Some even indulge in evil practises such as stealing, internet fraud, rituals and lots more. These evil means of getting wealthy no doubt, back fires (Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished...), hence we should not get involved. Most people believe that God is not willing to give His children wealth, well, that's not true. The bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 5:19- "Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God."

In this article, we shall be considering biblical ways of getting wealthy. If you want to get wealthy, these steps are biblically proven, if you follow it, you'll not come to want at the long run.

1. Become a child of God

Are all sinners poor? Are all children of God rich? Well, I would reply your questions with a YES. Before you raise more questions, see what the bible says concerning rich sinners: Psalm 73:3 "For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. [17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. [18] Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. [19] How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors."

Here, David understood the lot of rich sinners, that their wealth is their destruction, you don't want that kind of wealth. For children of God that seem poor, here is what the bible says: Psalm 37:16 "A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked." This is the bible, it can't be wrong, take it!

2. Continue to seek the kingdom of God

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God..." God has promised to give us healthy wealth that will sustain us until we get to heaven. Many people today have forsaken God in search for money. Only God can give pure wealth, the devil can offer unhealthy wealth, but trust me, it is for destruction. Hence, the bible admonishes us to seek God and His kingdom, he will give us what is ours. He us faithful! Make God your priority first.

3. Be Contented

"...Godliness with contentment is great gain." When God sees greed in a Man's heart, he often withdraws financial blessings. Therefore, instead of being greedy, create satisfaction in that little you have, it is a test of patience from God. Always give praise to God for the little you have, and with time, He will expand your coasts.

4. Always Give

Giving is like planting seeds, it is a practice that has ever worked for people in ages. Give to God, pay tithes and offering from a pure heart. You see a neighbour that is in need, give! The reward of giving is not instant as planting and harvesting is not immediate. However, it is important that you mind the church you attend, any church that is based on financial contribution is not of God, find a spiritual church that holds the spiritual welfare of her members a priority. Many people today no longer give tithes and offering because they feel their pastors are rich enough, this is wrong. You give to God not to the Pastor, if you find yourself in a church that does not preach holiness, the pastor wants your money, change that church. Seek holiness.

5. Ask

"Ask and it shall be given unto you...", God loves us so much, He takes us as His children, hence we should not be afraid to ask Him for something. It is also imperative to note that, when we ask,we should not ask out of lust. Do you want to get wealthy so as to boast or show off? Or you want to get wealthy so that you can dive into sin? God will not give us something that will push us into sin. Ask God to bless you for the right reasons

6. Be Patient

God will surely give to His children their own portion in life. He will not deny them of blessings, most times, we become impatient when it is not yet time. We are often in a hurry to get wealthy. Most men of God today passed through challenging times, not because God willfully want to punish them. God takes us through challenging times so as to train us for the future. Are things difficult now? Hold on, the future is bright.

7. Be Delivered

We can not rule out the fact that some people are under spiritual curses. This is a bitter truth you have to admit. God does not want that for you, if you notice a sequence of generational poverty in your family, you have to pray. Prayer for deliverance comes after you must have given your life to Jesus. Do you need to go to mountain to be delivered? Do you need to see a pastor to be delivered? The answer is No. When Jesus died on the cross of calvary, the temple curtains tore apart, giving us a chance to go before the Father anytime. You have the right to go before God in prayer and make requests, hence if you suspect you are under a curse, go into fervent prayers and fasting. Victory shall be yours.

Prayer: Lord I pray for all that have read this article, I pray that you'll make them your children and take care of them. Let them not come to want. Bless them and break all curses in their lives. Help them to prioritize you. Help us to inherit eternal riches in heaven, Amen.

Please, do like and share with families and friends so that they can be blessed too. Shalom
