Reno Omokri, the former special assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has come out once more. Over 100 private jets reportedly landed in Kano State yesterday for President Buhari's son's wedding, according to a tweet he sent this morning on his verified Twitter feed, yet Nigerians remain silent.
He continued, "If a pastor buys one private plane, Nigerians would wake up from their hypocrisy and drag the pastor as if he were elected as a national pastor." He concluded his message by emphasising that Nigerians despise their oppressors.
Reno Omokri's remark is amusing, yet he makes a solid point here. I don't see why we should continue to condemn pastors for purchasing private properties while we ignore all of the politicians who steal our common riches. As far as I'm concerned, Nigerians should leave men of God alone and confront these politicians, who are our shared adversaries in this country.
