Nigeria has received yet another blessing and good reputation, after two of her sons were appointed into top offices around the world in just one week. Notwithstanding, these two prominent people are from no other state but Anambra State, also known as "The Light of the Nation."
Consequently, Professor Charles Egbu, and Bishop Denis Isizoh, have truly made Anambra state to be depicted as the Light of Nigeria as they are known for, after their dedicated works, blessed them with appointments that will make the world know, and recognize not just Nigeria, but Anambra State.
Professor Charles Egbu
The good news here is that Professor Charles Egbu Is now the New Vice-Chancellor Of Leeds Trinity University, London, after he was appointed as the first black Professor To head a university in the United Kingdom. What an achievement!
This man is from no other state but Anambra State. This is the beginning of the reign of Anambra state in the world. He hails From Abatete In Idemili LGA, Anambra State.
A statement from the UK Varsity website reads that he will take over from Margaret House, who will be stepping down after seven years.
Bishop Denis Isizoh with Pope Francis
Notwithstanding, another man by the name Bishop Denis Isizoh, born 24, 1956, at Ogbunike, Oyi local Government Area of Anambra state, was also honoured with a top appointment few days ago, by Pope Francis (leader of the Catholic church around the world). The good news here is that despite hundreds of Bishops around the world, Pope Francis found him worthy, as he appoints him into the pontifical council for inter-religous dialogue. What an achievement!
Anambra State will now be made known to the world as their reign begins. This is showing how the Igbos' are relevant to Nigeria's advancement. We need them here as one Nigeria. This is also the kind of achievements and reputations Nigeria desires, not in fraud and cyber criminal!
Congratulations to you two. May God bless and guide you two to great performance in your respective offices. What's your opinion on this?
