Recently, it was gathered that a Christ Embassy Pastor by name; Marvin Osaghae and 30 adult members of his church have been fined for holding service in Australia despite Covid-19 restrictions.
On Sunday, 22nd of August, the Australian police were called by fed-up neighbors of Chris Oyakhilome's Christ Embassy Church in Sydney as the members gathered for service despite the Covid-19 restrictions in Australia.
According to reports, it was gathered that when the police arrived the venue of the service, there were a total number of 60 devotees present, in which half of them were children.
The thirty (30) adults were fined $1000 each, while the church was fined $5000, making it a total of $35, 000.
They were fined for disobeying the lockdown orders in Australia, which was aimed at preventing more deaths and to avoid new cases that is being recorded on daily basis.
