Five most expensive Church-owned universities in Nigeria

Nigeria is a country blessed with quality educations, many Nigerian youths always eager to further their education and to proceed to higher institutions in the country. As a result of this many universities are being founded to provide the education needed.

There are different universities in Nigeria, which includes the Federal Universities, State-owned universities, and also the private Universities. Many churches have also come up to create universities for their church members to attend and also for those who can afford or agreed to their terms and conditions.

So we will be discussing church-owned universities that are expensive in Nigeria, this is not to ridicule any church or organization but just to enlighten readers on their choices of higher institutions.

JABU: Joseph Ayo Babalola University is a university governed by the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and it is located in Osun state in Ikeji Alakeji. In this article, it’s the 5th most expensive Church owned university in Nigeria, and their tuition fees range from ₦500k to ₦650k

Redeemer University: This is a university-owned by the Redeem Christian Church of God, and on today’s list it’s the 4th most expensive university owned by a church. Their tuition fees range from 600k-700k, depending on their courses.

Benson Idahosa University: Another beautiful church-owned university, that their tuition fees may not be palatable for people of lower classes. Their tuition fees range from 318k to 1.2m Naira, and it’s solely based on your type of course, their Law students pay the highest fees.

Covenant University: This University is owned by the founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, and today it’s the second most expensive Church-owned University, and their school fees are between 790k to 814k while their medical students pay higher than that. 

Babcock University: This University is owned by the Seventh Day Adventist, and currently they are the most expensive Church-owned university, and also the second most expensive university in Nigeria after Igbinedion University. Their tuition fees range from 300k to 3.1m Naira, while their medical students pay the highest fees in Nigerian universities.
