A former Federal Lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has said in few days to come, power will come to an end for some people.

In a post via his official Twitter page, the former Kaduna State senator said those who rose to become gods will fall back to the human race and those who are ordinary humans will rise to become new gods.

According to him, the transience of power comes with its consequences.

He wrote, “In few days to come, power will come to an end for some people. Those who rose to become gods will fall back to the human race. Those who are ordinary humans now will rise to become new gods. The transience of power comes with its consequences.

His tweet has generated reactions from Nigerians on Twitter, see some of the reactions below,

@UgofelixA: Wike the wicked will step down from his high horse and then his past deeds will haunt him for life. Lessons will be learnt.

@pharm_UC: Power is indeed transient. Nigeria political class has made themselves gods amongst human. Case study was Nelson Wike who thinks he can play demigod over who succeeds him and presidential election for evil and self centered purpose.

@Gen_Buhar: Just say it loud and clear....Some Obidense will go back to their IPOB terrorists organisation and some wailers will continue to wail till 2031.

@mamatii001: Even in d next 8 years sir, Tinubu presidency power will end too. There is nothing that has a beginning and will not end.

@njoku_njokumic: “With that in mind, why is it still difficult for Nigerian political ruling class to understand this saying "power is Transient" just why?

@olanrewaju_b: Yes oooh but the new gods will not learn from the mistakes of the outgoing gods. such is life.

@dadyjeff3: From what am seeing that's not the case with continuity. Some old folks will still remain in power. God forbid bad thing.

@Carlitopapa: These are the Issues, elected officials are public SERVANTS not gods, and until we change this narrative in this country, abuse of office will remain inevitable.
