4 Bible verses to read when you need help

Have you ever been in a situation where help is not coming from any angle? You looked at your family members, no help; you looked at your friends and colleagues, no help. Now you feel like giving up. If you give up, would help ever come? You don't need to ever think of giving up.

Anytime you need help and it seems like no one is ready to help you, draw closer to your Bible and you will see that the help you need is not far-fetched. There are 4 Bible verses I would want you to make your favourite verses and see how your mindset and situation would change for good.

1. Psalm 121:1-2

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Even as you are looking for help, the first thing you need to understand is that your help is not coming from a man but God. In your daily life, do not depend on a man for help because he can fail you. Depend and look up to God who never fails.

2. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

There is something this Bible verse is asking you to do. It is good you have a good relationship with someone both of you can help each other when the need arises. You have friends and colleagues you both work together. When such a person needs help and you can afford to help, do it so that when you need help, he can do the same.

3. Isaiah 41:13

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

God has promised to be of help to you at all times. No matter the kind of help you might need, God is ready to hold your right hand and lift you off it. All you have to do is to trust and believe in Him.

4. Hebrew 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Here is telling you that you need to approach God's throne of grace with confidence. What this means is that; when you need help, you should understand that only Him can help you. Go to Him and cry for the grace to receive his help. Don't be downcasted thinking that all hope is lost for the grace of God is sufficient and able to bring help to your way.

I pray for you today; as you have trusted God to be your helper, He shall send helpers your way. May your helpers not rest until they locate you in Jesus' name. Amen. If you believe, claim with faith and share this article.
