Oyedepo financial curse message on tithe is not for people like Jeff Bezos

The world and everything in it has been changing. In the 60s no one can boldly come forth and speak against tithing and the method men of God use to make people pay their tithe. People hardly ask want their tithe is being used for. But in this 21st century, we see a totally different thing. People now question some of the teachings of the church. I don't know if it's good or bad. It's left for you the reader to decide.

Bishop Oyedepo made a post few days back about tithing. And he ended the tweet with "you're under a financial curse"- for those that don't pay their tithe. I don't know the reason he made that comment. And I don't even know if the statement should be taken literally. Using a literal understanding of the word, I must say it's not for everyone. I know lots of people that are wealthy across all religion that do not tithe.

Using a popular person known by all, Jeff Bazos do not pay tithe to anyone and he is the richest man on earth with a net worth of $176B according to forbes. If you check the billionaires in the world, 60 percent of them are not religious people. They believe in giving to the society, but they don't pay tithe.

If their are men that are billionaires and don't pay tithe, it means that their is no financial curse attached to not paying tithe. There is a big difference between tithe, and charity.
