It is no more news that popular catholic priest, Father Ejike Mbaka has openly spoken against the president of the country, Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma due to some of things happening in Nigeria and Imo state.
This same Fr Mbaka was the one who claim God told him that Buhari is the savior of Nigeria, and that his tenure will be a blessed one for every citizen in 2015. He was even in Aso rock to meet with the President but on the long run, their relationship went south.
Also, Fr Mbaka was also the one who said Hope Uzodinma will bring hope to the people of Imo state, though as at then, there was harmony in Imo state, unlike now. Father Mbaka then said Hope Uzodinma has been anointed by God to become the governor of Imo state and that He is bringing hope. This was made public at his popular programme in the East where thousands of people attend.
However, times have changed and they no longer get along like before, he was even quoted saying Hope Uzodinma doesn’t pick his calls anymore sometime last week, and today, a video was shared where Father Mbaka openly said God told him to withdraw support from Buhari and Hope Uzodinma.
This statement of his was greeted by backlash as people described it as false, and revealed that the reason he is saying this is because they no longer pick his call and talk to him again like before. People were also of the opinion that Father Mbaka never heard from God concerning them right from onset but He only said all he said for personal benefits.
Meanwhile, a popular man of God, Primate Ayodele who has been a strong critic of Fr Mbaka revealed in 2020 that the catholic priest is not a true man of God, this was when He said Hope Uzodinma was bringing hope to the people of Imo.
Primate Ayodele who is not known for attacking other men of God came out boldly to stand by his word that Fr Mbaka is not a man of God, and that he never heard anything from God. He further said the public should watch out as thing unfold.
Now that things have started unfolding, despite the fact that Primate Ayodele was called names then, Has this not vindicated his statement? I think it has
