Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has announced the date for the Islamic debate between Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara and other Kano State Islamic scholars who are against his addresses.
According to the report gathered from BBC Hausa, the proposed Islamic debate is scheduled to take place on 7 March, 2021. This is made known by the Kano State Commissioner for religious affairs, Dr. Muhammad Tahir.
It can be recalled that Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on 7 February 2021 has accepted to arrange the debate after a plea by Sheik Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara, following demolition of his school and the order given to him not to give any further Islamic address.
Many popular Islamic scholars in the State are expected to participate in the debate but the State Government did not release the names of the other participants.
