The burial arrangement of late mother Bishop Kukah, Mama Janet Hauwa Kukah, was confirmed by Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah, the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto. He disclosed that the wake keeping celebration will hold at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sabon Tasha on Thursday, July 16, while the funeral mass will held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Anchuna on Friday, July 17.
Bishop Kukah disclosed in a public statement that there will be a limits on numbers masses according to guidelines of social distance in Churches. He noted that nobody would be allowed in if the accepted numbers have been reached.
"Anybody without a face mask will be denied into churches. Masks must be worn all along the celebration time. Water and hand sanitizers should be available and thermometers,' he added.
Kukah praise President Buhari and all Nigerians for their solidarity with the family. "My appreciation to all Nigerians, and our President, Muhammadu Buhari, and those who wrote or called us to show their condolences on the death of our beloved mother, Mama Janet Hauwa Kukah.
