There is a popular Bible passage which says, “he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.” This is one of the factors that has made a Nigerian tricycle (keke) rider to publicly express his desire to find a wife.
The manner by which the Asaba-based Keke rider expressed it was what caught the attention of everyone. The unidentified man was pictured by an eyewitness driving between Delta State towns and villages with this inscription on his tricycle, “I NEED A WIFE”.
He further went on to add his personal telephone number on his plea, so single ladies interested in him can easily reach out. What prompted him to adopt this method is still baffling.
From a personal standpoint—I feel the keke rider might be the shy type of men that find it difficult to approach and talk to the female gender. These could either be as a result of low self-esteem or trauma from past relationships.
All in all, we wish and pray he finds the perfect wife he so desires.
