Everlasting Lord, You have been our dwelling-place in all generations. Even from Glory to Glory, You are God, and we desire to make You, our heart's home. We are not at home in this useless and poor world, for our life's are not secure here. All things pass away, the mountains shall depart, and the hills shall be removed. Our souls are immortal, and can find no home on this earth. You alone are enduring and eternal, and only in You, can our souls find a suitable home and rest, a refuge of love which will be sure forever. Help us to make our home in You Lord Jesus.
Father, we bless You for this our earthly home, and we thank You for the love that binds us together, for the refuge we find here from this world's enmities. Draw us closer together as a family, and make our home-life sweeter. Enable us to be more helpful to each other, and teach us patience in our family and in everything we will be doing together today.
Help us to find the best things in each other, and to give one to the other the best things of love we have in our hearts.
Lion of Judah, may You allow our home-life to day be tender and affectionate, and fill us with Your divine love, so that our heart and lips shall overflow, and that good seeds in us may grow whatever things are lovely. You know our special needs God, and we ask for personal blessings. Forgive us all our sins, and Comfort us in our sorrows.
Father, we commit our lives, and this day into Your hands. We ask that You lead and guide us by Your spirit in every step along the way, Bestowed to Us Your wisdom to make the right choices and decisions that will bring glory and honor to your name.
As we step out we do so in faith hoping and believing for the best. May doors of opportunities be opened to us and may we meet people of our destinies according to your will.
O Jesus, give unto us now a divine blessing as we go out into the world today. May we live so as to be ever receiving from Jesus, and then enable us to be ever giving out again the good things of divine love.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
