4 Steps To Take To Come Out Of Debt in God's Way and Be Free Indeed

Debt is not the will of God for his people and the Bible kicks against it in Proverbs 22:7 that "the rich rule over the poor and the borrower is a slave to the lender". You may never be happy living your life on debts and this is one of the ways the devil use in caging people and denying them of the financial fortune God has for them. (Photo credit: Dreamstime)

You must pray seriously to come out of debt, but after prayer, you will have to take some serious steps otherwise it might not be possible to be totally free from the deception or temptation of the devil that leads to it.

Here are the 4 steps to take to come out of debt

1) Itemize all the debts

Consciously assessing your debt situation such as creditor names, the amount owed, the amount paid, balances interest will help you make a payment priority.

2). Arrange how you want to repay the debts.

In clear terms, make a personal, just and honest proposal of the payment of each debt and follow it up. Don't plan to pay it at once if you can not do that at that moment.

3) Find out what went wrong

There are so many things that could have gone wrong before you find yourself in debt. Was it tithes you were not paying or probably challenged by the spirit of extravagance? Find out how you got into debt in the first instance. Some were avoidable, others were inevitable. Avoid whatever is avoidable and pray against the inevitable.

4) Make a covenant with God

This is what you need to do for God to lift you into a higher level that is far above debt. There is a need to make a covenant with God just as you sign up an oat or agree to terms and conditions before taking a loan. The introduction of the supernatural into your debt and financial situation increases the rate of your financial yield directly or indirectly and frees you from every negative spiritual hold. Whosoever the Lord sets free is free indeed John 8:36.
