Popular Afro singer, Seun Kuti has asked Pastors and Imam to stop praying for Nigeria.

The freedom fighter added that clergymen should also stop asking their congregants to pray for Nigeria.

According to the singer, what Nigerians need to do is act and not pray. He therefore urged clerics to start telling their members to act.
The singer noted that when a worker does not perform, action is taken as a means of sack and not prayer.
In his social media posts, he wrote "Switch up the sermon! I mean when some Pastors in some churches weren’t performing, we didn’t pray for them, we sacked them ( fought) from office.", stressing the need for Nigerians to also act.

This is coming after an Abuja-based Islamic Cleric said he has been praying for President Muhammadu Buhari but there has been no improvements. He therefore, hinted that he would no longer pray for the current administration.
