Why Did Jesus Turn To Look At Peter After He Denied Him? - Apostle Johnson Suleman Clarifies

While preaching to his members, the Founder and General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, made clarifications on why Jesus turned to look at Peter after he denied Him. He clarified in a video captioned "The Proximity of Evil" which was posted on his Facebook page.

He started by saying that those that harm you are usually people that are close to you and that they can not do that unless they assess you. He said some friends are worse than enemies and can easily harm you because they have closer proximity to you. He referred to Judas' betrayal of Jesus, saying that it was easier for him to do so because he had proximity to Jesus.

Speaking on why Jesus turned to look at Peter after he betrayed Him, he said it is because the denial of a friend is worse than the betrayal of an enemy. "When Judas betrayed Jesus, Jesus did not say anything but when Peter denied Jesus, the Bible says Jesus turned and looked at him. Do you know why? It's because the denial of a friend is worse than the betrayal of an enemy", he said.
