2 Kinds Of Work A Believer Should Engage In So As To Connect With God's Prosperity Power.

In order to enjoy God's prosperity power, the Bible advises us to work and avoid laziness. As believers, as much as we want to work for God, we should also engage ourselves in either a job or a handiwork. Because if God wants to bless you, He will bless our work. Here are two kinds of work a believer should engage in so as to connect with God's prosperity power:

(1) Your Job Or Career Or Profession.

In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11, the Bible says:

" For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies."

God prospers what you do because, without a work (job), God's blessings on a believer cannot have physical expression. Also, you can't sustain wealth without work. Anyone flaunting riches without traceable work is a thief. God worked, Jesus worked; so no believer has any reason to be explaining he is jobless. No one employed God, he created work for himself, so if prosperity is your desire then work is a must.

However, the financial greatness of any believer has no covenant bearing with his place or the type of work he does. Your problem is not the type of work you are doing or how big or small it is. If you are not prospering as a believer, check what you are believing about prosperity.

In Psalm 1:3 the Bible says, "...and whatsoever he does, and oil it shall prosper... This means that every kind of work a genuine believer lays his hands on to do has prosperity as its destination, if only he applies the right order of faith to it. Your type of work only determines what can come to you, but it's your faith that determines what becomes of you in the end.

(2) The Work Of Faith

Though the Bible says that faith without work is dead according to James 2:20 but the "work" that the scripture says to be done is in James 2:20. This work is talking about your practical obedience to the conditions, requirements, scriptural demands, and instructions as stated or attached to the promise of God you are holding on to for your financial breakthrough.

It is sad many believers have no faith basis for their financial future, they only depend on hard work, struggle, and business for survival. They have and use no faith. They say "I work for my money, I can make it without God". As a believer, God demands you engage faith in all your affairs including finances and the only way to do this is by engaging his words and promises.

The blessings of Abraham which the covenant of prosperity is hinged on was purely based on the faith work he did by obeying God in line with the promises, not the physical work or profession of Abraham. You can't prosper like Abraham without doing the faith work. God's provision power was triggered to miraculously provide a ram for Abraham because he obeyed the instruction to sacrifice Isaac, which is the work of faith in action. Some of these faith works have to do with giving, meditation, confession ..etc without which God can't be moved.

In conclusion, some believers engage in work but do nothing about work. Though they will get some riches but to get to the order of trans-generational prosperity that God planned for all believers, you must engage these two kinds of works. As you do these, you will be succeeding where others are stranded because you will be enjoying divine assistance.
