Raises Clarion call among Christians
He had a saintly courageous parting disposition. His last words lent credence to his Spartan faith and courage.
But come to think of it. We have just registered our first priest victim to CoViD 19 in Enugu State. Like joke like joke. What is the meaning of this? CoViD 19 is real for those who think it is not. It is near for those who think it is far!
We seem to be relaxing the caution against the spread of this disease. We have opened the borders and resumed normal spiritual and social activities. We are celebrating our anniversaries and birthdays as if nothing is in the air.
But as leaders of the people of God, we need to raise the drum beats of caution ; safe distancing and all round protection.
I think the enemy wants a more tragic harvest in Nigeria. Another lockdown is imminent unless we seriously raise a clarion call among our Christians.
May the soul of Fr Joachim Cabanyes and the souls of others that has died of Covid-19 rest in perfect peace. Fr Benedict wrote on his Facebook page
Following the post, his followers have taken thier time to wish the late priest a perfect Rest In Peace
may his soul rest in peace, Amen
