Roman Catholic Church Mourns the Death of a Popular Catholic Priest Who Died of Covid-19 in Enugu

The Roman Catholic Church has recorded the of a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Joachim Cabanyes, who is said to have died of the deadly diseases ravaging the whole world. Since the beginning of this year, the world was on stand still due to the Coronavirus pandemic but recently, there has been a gradual relaxation of the Lockdown in different countries.

If am not mistaken, Rev. Fr. Joachim Cobanyes is the First Roman Catholic priest who has died of Coronavirus in Nigeria, for those saying there is no covid-19 in Nigeria, please think twice and take precautions and keep maintaining the social distance, regular washing of hands and the use of Sanitizer.

Fellow Catholic priests in Enugu are also in mourning mood, as Rev. Fr. Agbo Ben and other priests mourns for the death of Rev. Fr. Joachim, who died of Coronavirus in Enugu. He was described as exceptional Priest in Enugu Diocese whose life is worth emulating.

According to Rev. Fr. Benedict Agbo, who took to his Facebook page to mourn a fellow priest, also advice those who didn't believe that the virus is real, to always see reasons to take precautions in the already proscribed method to avoid contacting such a deadly disease because it is real. He described the Late Rev. Fr. Joachim as a man of God who is always seeking God's face in every situation.

Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him, may the soul of Rev. Fr. Joachim Cabanyes and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
