The choir department is the department almost every church member wants to join. While some are interested in joining the department to serve God, some want to join for their own benefit.
The choir department is now turning to a ground where people show forth what they have, rather than the grace of God in their lives. Some people only sing so that they can be seen, noticed, and popular. This is one thing that is affecting the church.
Imagine a choir that is spiritless. The choir only entertains the audience without passing any message at all. The Holy Spirit cannot work with sin, and so may not be touching any lives throughout the ministration. Some even fight and quarrel all the time because some people also want to lead choruses, choir ministrations, etc.
The choir needs the intervention of God, and also, pastors should make sure that people going into the choir pass through some spiritual processes. The choir should be more spiritual, because they are also ministers.
