Adams Oshiomhole Points Out To The Statements Of Pastor Adeboye On Being Impartial In Politics
By OxygenNews (self media writer) | 10 days ago
The Former APC Chairman in an interview with the Arise TV has downplayed the issue of Muslim-Muslim ticket as a serious problem for Nigeria. He alleged that the problem of Nigeria is beyond any religion. The Former Edo State Governor also argued about how some popular Pastors are bringing Christianity into Politics because of this same faith ticket.
He then referred to the words of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God general overseer take on the 2023 election. Adams Oshiomhole stated that Pastor Adeboye impartiality in politics is what other Christian leaders should be emulating.
He said, "There is a video clip that's being circulated and you can verify it. A statement made by Pastor Adeboye. He's easily one of the most respected elders and the head of Redeem Christian Church.
He said no genuine member of his church can point out where he as the head of the Church and as a father had directed church members to campaign for any particular political party.
He said that he has decided not to vote because he doesn't want to be seen voting for one of his children against another. He sees himself as a father and that's the true behavior of Believer in God.''
