"Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE." Acts 5:20
Many have not heard the true Gospel. They've heard part of it. And partly, they've been changed. But the true Gospel changes a person completely. It liberates people from who and what they are, and not just from what they are experiencing.
The Gospel that many have heard only delivers people from what they are going through, it promises them better jobs, good houses, health and wealth, and forgiveness. It's a weak Gospel that only focuses only on outward experiences. It's a diluted Gospel actually.
This wrong Gospel has produced a people who have no victory over sin. Their lives are not transformed. They are easily oppressed and influenced by evil spirits and so they need to be "delivered" from time to time. They are selfish and fearful, if anyone manifests to be the reason why their business is not moving forward, they'd rather have that person "die by fire" than be saved by grace. It's a Gospel that values possessions more than it values salvation. Those who have received this Gospel can spend week in and week out praying and fasting for possessions, or power, but shed zero tears for souls.
The true Gospel is different, it makes men lovers. It replaces the old life of sin and servitude with the new life of righteousness and dignity in the one who receives it. It makes men masters over devils and circumstances. It gives men freedom from curses, sickness and lack of all things. It makes men, sons of God. It makes them live fully for, and depend on Jesus Christ. It is a message of the life of God.
The life a person lives reveals the kind of message they've received. Have you received the true Gospel? Have you heard all the words of this life?
Heavenly Father, may the light of your glorious Gospel shine on the hearts of men that they may appreciate the finished works of your Son, Jesus. May many be exposed to all the words of this life today, and everyday, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
