2 Things You Should Consider Before Criticizing Pastor Bakare For Visiting PMB Amid Earlier Vows

Following the recent visit of the Senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church, Tunde Bakare to President Buhari today in the Aso Villa, there have been series of criticisms in the air considering the fact that the pastor had earlier vowed never to visit President Buhari again after leveling series of criticisms against the current government some months ago.

However, many Nigerians have grabbed the opportunity to launch criticisms at the clergyman while using his earlier vows against him. Fortunately, I found it necessary to address this very gesture from Nigerians using the 2 points below as a corrective measure.

•1: Change is inevitable.

One thing everyone must have in mind before criticizing Pastor Bakare amid the recent development is that change is imminent. People tend to change their decisions or attitudes towards a particular subject or topic when it becomes clear to them that they are deviating from the main goal, or that they got influenced in one way or the other, thus they found the need to make amends by doing the needful.

•2: Nigeria is currently facing many challenges lately.

Another thing we all should consider before launching criticisms against the actions of Pastor Tunde is concerning the present challenges that are glaring the Nigerian state right into the face, as cases of insecurity and threats of secession have already done enough harm to the country, so the president would need every help and suggestion it would ever get to ensure the sustainability of this country.

Moreover, we all shouldn't forget the fact that Pastor Bakare is a political and personal friend of the President, thus we shouldn't underestimate that very bond and relationship they have always shared earlier before President Buhari came into office.
