God's purpose for the church: are today's church following his principles?

"Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and off faith towards God." (Hebrew 6:1)

God's purpose for the church

The church is Heaven's earthly agency designed to train it's members to fulfill their purpose on earth in their generation.

The church is not an organization that merely builds buildings, its not a vehicle for entertainment, neither is it a nursery for Christian babies who refuse to grow up.

God intends the church to be so glorious and mighty in the earth that it would display God's wisdom to angels and demons alike. (According to Ephesians 3:10-11)

What is the objective of ministry?

"but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (matter 6:33).

What's God's purpose for the church?, What's is the church's purpose for gathering members?

Let's together avoid heavy theological terms but agree on what could be seen and noted as the answer to these questions with a view to bringing us to our very need. God's purpose for the church is to gather in one body irrespective of tribe, color, and background a people, lovely people who shall be a people of one God, one saviour, one baptism and one hope, all in Christ and through Christ. (Ephesians 1: 10 -14)

The church in return is the spiritual family off all redeemed who had been blended into one spiritual temple and one body off Christ.

The church is meant to be lively, active and obedient towards God. How can this be achieved but by our spiritual growth through which we can begin to live for God in daily communion and obedience.

Christ is the spiritual life of the church (john 14:9) while believers are the physical life of the church. Christ has built His church and the gates of hell though fights relentlessly had not and cannot prevail against the church because Christ lives at the right hand of God's majestic throne making ceaseless intercessions for the church.

Returning to God's divine light should be the top priority for the church and believers. May God grant us all the grace to return to the path of righteousness.....Amen.

Stay blessed always.
