Death is inevitable, either one likes it or not one will surely die one day, but, the heart's desire and prayer of everyone, especially youths, is to live long and die at matured age. Anyway, it is possible to avoid premature or untimely death as clearly stated in the book of Ephesians chapter 6 verses 1, 2 and 3.

Ephesians 6 : 1- 3 " Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honour your father and mother - that is first commandment with a promise: So that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

The above Bible verses clearly stated what s a child should do so that they can receive the blessings of God and at the same time live long on this terrestrial planet. It is very important for all children to respect and obey their parents. Mind you, it is not only your biological parents that you should obey and respect, make sure you extend your respect and honour to anyone who is older than you.

You must show respect and honour to your master where you learn one trade or the others. Students should honour, respect and obey their teachers, as far as what they ask them to do is not against the commandments of God, don't ever rude to your parents, teachers, masters and your elderly ones.

When you show respect and honour to your parents, teachers and your elderly ones, the good Lord will honour you, bless and prosper your way. Not only that, He will bless you, He will sustain your life, you will not die prematurely and untimely.

Therefore, my esteemed young people, if you want God to bless you and at the same time, for you to live long on this earth, you must obey, honour and respect your parents, teachers, masters and your elderly ones.

May God Almighty bestow on you spirit of humility and the heart that shows honour to the elderly ones.
