Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to earth through Virgin Mary. During his time on Earth, he started preaching to scholars at the age of 12. When he was older, he made disciples of his own. He called Matthew, Mark, Peter, John and other disciples to work with him. Of all these disciples, John was his favourite, John was even nicknamed "the loved one". Jesus took his disciples with him wherever he went to, including places where he performed miracles and preached to people. He also taught his disciples important commandments such as love your neighbour as yourself '"watch and pray"
In this context we are going to look at the Apostle who used his shadow to heal the sick. Although this happened after Jesus death but it will be remembered in a very very long time.
When Peter was healing sick people in a city, the people came out in numbers to experience their healing. The Bible even made it clear that some people brought out their sick ones for Peter's shadow to pass through them, "As they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them".
It just goes on to show how great the Power of God can be. Remember when Jesus told his disciples that he will send the Holy Spirit to be with them. Don't you think this is the Holy Spirit at work?
