Many Christians tend to live their lives casually, and people around them find it hard to point out a particular attitude or lifestyle that depicts Christ in them. They, being a Christian or a child of God is just by accepting Him(Jesus Christ) as their Lord and personal Savior.
There is a lot to Christianity than just accepting Christ into your life. Though that is important because it is the first step to becoming a Christian. Being upright, honest just can be said as having or showing strict respect or adherence to what is morally right.

However, spiritual uprightness is righteousness. To be spiritually upright means to have the fear of God in your heart, to be truthful, and to make it part of you. According to Psalms 11:7 “For the righteous LORD love righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.” God loves those who are upright.
However, to be spiritually upright, see some things you should consider doing.

Setting Your Mind In The Things Of The Spirit.
Overcoming the flesh is not always easy, but it is achievable. To set your mind in the things of the spirit is to defeat the pleasures of the flesh, allowing your spirit to take charge. Filling your thoughts with things of the spirit and consciously allowing the Holy Spirit to direct your ways. Romans 8:5 “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” See also Galatians 5:22-25. By setting your mind in the things of the spirit, living a spiritually upright life becomes a lot easier.
Studying The Holy Bible Frequently
Living an upright life also means overcoming temptations that the devil throws at you to deviate from the will of God. According to Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success.” You need the word of God in you to withstand and overcome that temptation and be victorious.

Living A Prayerful Life
Prayers play a great role in the life of every believer. No wonder, Apostle Paul said in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:17, that we should pray without ceasing. Prayers boost your spirit man and also set your spirit on fire. The enemy cannot attack when you are always on fire, and living a spiritually upright life will be a lot easier.
