Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola was a powerful man of God during his days on earth. He really performed miracles that defiled scientific explanation. His ministry which started in 1928 was famous for mouthwatering healing miracles.
During his time on earth, Apostle Ayo Babalola remained single for many years until friends and family put pressure on him and he got married to Deaconess Dorcad Babalola on 25th of April, 1935.
The wedding ceremony was officiated by Pastor David Odunbanjo, Pastor J.S.B Odusona and close to six thousand people were in attendance in the first CAC at Efon Alaaye, Aladura assembly. The couple settled down at Efon Alaye.
Apostle Babalola's married with Deaconess Dorcas was blessed with four children but only two are living today. One died during the days of Apostle Babalola and the second died as a result of sickle cell amaemia in 1968.

1. Mrs Eunice Wuraola Oginni
She is presently living at Ilesa, Osun state and she is the Matron of CAC Okesa in Ilesa.
2. Mrs Apeke Adeniyi
Mrs Apeke Adeniyi is the last child of Apostle Babalola and she was once a banker in a cooperative bank that has closed down. But now, Mama is working for God just like her father and her elder sister.
However, great Apostle Ayo Babalola died on the 6th of July 1959 and his wife died on 28th December, 1993 in Ilesa. She moved to Ilesa from Efon Alaye three years after the death of Babalola and she died at Ilesa.
