Read These Powerful Psalms Before Going To Sleep Today

Good evening brothers and sisters in Christ. The day is gradually coming to an end, night will soon fall and we shall all rest to relieve ourselves from the stress of the day. May God protect us as we lie on our bed tonight, and may he wake us up safely tomorrow. Here are some Psalms you should read and prayers you should pray before going to bed.

Psalms 91:1-5

He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say to the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the Fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day.

Psalms 25:1-2

Unto thee, O Lord, do i lift up my soul.

O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Psalms 23:1-6

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoints my head with oil; my cup run over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Amen.

O Lord, I thank you for your protection and provision throughout the day, may your name be highly exalted.

Forgive me my sins and trespasses, O Lord, all evil committed by me during the day time, by thoughts and by actions, forgive me, O Lord.

In your name I lie down to sleep, Lord, protect me. Any evil forces of any nature, destroy it, any evil sent to me by an enemy, let it backfire to the sender. In Jesus' name.

Once again, thank you Lord for answering my prayer, may your name be highly exalted. Amen.
