Dr Dk Olukoya, the founder and presiding General Overseer of the Lagos-based Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries has taken to his official Facebook page to share the video of a message he delivered with the title, Your Parentage Will Determine The Battle You Will Fight. In the message, the cleric shared the story of how a man struggled with martial failure for many years.
According to the cleric, in the message shared through video skits, he has shared how a man struggled with marital difficulties. Before he could become 45 years of age, he had divorced 7 times. The last marriage he had before he went for special prayers lasted for 24 hours. After this, he went for a deliverance programme. As they prayed for him, the cleric had a revelation. In the revelation, it was shown that the forefather of the man, many years back had attacked some people who were on their way to another village for traditional marriage.
The man attacked and waylaid them. He robbed them of all their belonging and drank up the palm wine, that was intended for the marriage. In the end, all the marriage materials were looted. In their anger, the family of the groom who the man robbed cursed him that, because he had destroyed their plans so much that they could not go ahead with the wedding any longer, they cursed him. They cursed him that, throughout his generations, no one would get married.
God in His faithfulness revealed the source of his problem—it was then he could break free from the ancestral curses that had plagued his life for so many years.
