Gov Yahaya Apologises To Christians In Gombe:

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, on Saturday apologised to Christian faithfuls in the state.

The governor, who didn’t state what he was apologising for exactly, said as human beings who are capable of erring he thought it imperative to apologise and seek a fresh start.

He made the plea during an interactive meeting organised by Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe state chapter, and held at the banquet hall Government House.

Buhari Sends Condolence To Abacha Family Over Son’s Death:

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his heartfelt condolences to the former First Lady, Marayam Abacha, and her family on the death of their son, Abdullahi.

In a statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Buhari, “the President’s prayers and thoughts are with the family of Abacha as they grieve the passing of the young Abdullahi.

Aregbesola Warns Customs Personnel Against Practices:

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has called on officers and men of the Nigerian Correctional Service to shun all corrupt practices.

He warned that such an act was capable of leading to security breaches at the Custodial Centres in the country.

Aregbesola spoke at the Passing out Parade of cadets at the 28th Assistant Superintendent of Correctional Basic Course (Batch E) of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Kaduna.

Ondo Residents Hail Supreme Court Judgment, knock CBN, Emefiele:

Following the nullification of the naira redesign policy by the Supreme Court, residents of Ondo State have described the judgment as soothing.

According to some of the residents who bared their minds on the development, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, should apologize to Nigerians for the harrowing hardship they went through in the past months.
