Today is the 1st of Shawwal in the Islamic month calendar, and as such Muslims celebrate Eid on this day to mark the end of the Holy month of Ramadan in which they had fasted vigorously for 30 days nonstop.
Now the significance of this day cannot be overemphasized as it is a day of joyous celebrations, a day to thank Allah for what he has done continuously on account of his blessings and bounty on all Muslims.
