Check Out The Lord's Prayer In A Way You've Never Seen It Before.

The Lord's Prayer is often regarded as the prayer of all prayers. It was taught by no other than Jesus Himself and it covers every area of our lives.

Here is a breakdown of The Lord's Prayer and how to use it to bring victory in every area of your life.

1. Our Father, who art in heaven.

The prayer beings with our relationship with God. Jesus did not just refer to God as our God or our creator who art in heaven. He refers to Him as our father. We must come to God with the mindset that He's our father and we are His children. This should give us great confidence to table our needs before Him. Jesus said if our parents who are evil can give us good things, how much more God that is our heavenly Father.

2. Hallow be your name.

We must always reverence God's name and not use it carelessly. God said He'll not take it lightly with those who use His name flippantly. We must ask God to forgive us in whatever way we've misused His name and give us grace to respect it always.

3. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We must pray always for the kingdom of God to be established on the earth and that He alone should take preeminence in our lives and families. We must pray also that His will supercede every other will on earth and in our lives.

We must develop the habit of studying the Word of God so as not to be ignorant concerning His will for our lives and what He wants us to have and what not to have.

4. Give us this day our daily bread.

We need food and other amenities of life like shelter, clothing, etc to survive. We must always be willing to earn our living honestly. The unemployed should remind God that He said those who don't work should not eat. Let Him provide a good source of income for us and also open more doors of opportunities for us to prosper in Jesus name.

5. And forgive us our debt as we also forgive our debtors.

The summary of this whole prayer centers on the necessity of forgiveness. We must not hide our sins but always be willing to confess them before God, who also is willing to forgive. But more importantly, we too must be willing to forgive those who offend us. For Jesus said if we don't forgive neither shall we be forgiven by God.

6. And lead us not into temptation.

In our world today temptations abound almost wherever we turn. We should endeavour to always ask God for Grace to live above whatever temptations might stand in our way. Also, we too must determine in our hearts not to deliberately walk into temptation.

7. But deliver us from evil

The days are evil and daily we hear and see negative things all around us. Both physical and spiritual evil forces are always on the prowl looking for whom to destroy. On our own, we are no match but with God we are more than conquerors.

We must daily cover ourselves and families with the blood of Jesus and ask God to frustrate all the plans of the evil one against us in Jesus mighty name.

8. For thine is the kingdom and the power and your glory, forever and ever. Amen.

The Lord alone deserves all praise and glory and He said He dwells in the praises of His people. Develop the habit of not just praying and asking God for things, but also to praise Him regularly. We must not only praise Him for the things He's done for us or doing presently, but above all, for who He is. He is the creator of the entire universe and every thing that has breathe shall praise Him all through eternity in Jesus name.

Remain blessed in Jesus name.
