Why We Should Not Be Tired Of Praying For Nigeria

As a nation, we need to understand the fact that God created us and he wants the best for us. It may take long but He is always ready to answer all our prayers as long as we are ready to pray. Due to all what is happening in Nigeria, it is becoming too difficult for some people to pray but here are three reasons why we should not be tired of playing for Nigeria

1. God Still Answers Prayers

As long as there is a man to pray, then there is a God to answer. He still answers prayers and we should not forget that Nigeria need prayer. We should develop the habit of praying for our country and believe that God will answer our prayers. He will definitely answer as long as we pray in faith and righteousness.

2. The Second Stanza Of Our National Anthem

The Second Verse of Our National Anthem Shows We Need To Pray For Our Leaders. Our founding fathers already knew that this nation shall and must pass through trying times. Thus, they provided the strong words in the second verse of our national anthem.

Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause

Guide our leaders right

Help our youth the truth to know

In love and honesty to grow

And living just and true

Great lofty heights attain

To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.

3. Lessons From Charles Spurgeon Who Prayed For Wales:

Charles Haddon Spurgeon was an English preacher who preached the Particular Baptist faith. Spurgeon, renowned as the "Prince of Preachers" among Christians of many denominations, continues to have a large following.

Charles was born on the 19th of June 1834 in Kelvedon, United Kingdom, and died on the 31st of January 1892 in Cardiff, Wales. He was a man who prayed constantly for Wales and for crime to be reduced to the lowest ebb in the country.
