According to the post shared on Facebook by Church Gist, Pastor Adeboye visited South Korea some years back because he heard of a man who had the largest church in the World; a congregation ranging to about a million people as at the time of visit. Adeboye reaccounts that Cho holds seven services on Sundays.
Some years later, Pastor Adeboye returned to South Korea to meet Cho for the first time. When Cho met Pastor Adeboye, Cho asked him to pray for him because he had heard him.
Pastor Adeboye concluded this session by praying saying, "there is somebody here today, by the time God finishes with you, the people you are looking up to will one day come and say please pray for me".
Meanwhile, David Paul Yonngi Cho was reported dead at about 7:30am local time today, Tuesday. The cause for his death is yet to be made public but Cho was over 86 years old at the time of his passing away.
May his soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
