The congregational Jumu'ah prayers were successfully held in the two holy sites of Islam earlier today. The prayers was witnessed by hundreds of Muslim faithfuls whilst observing the necessary health protocols.
In Mecca, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Sudais delivered the sermon. He spoke on the importance of Islamic teachings. He was quoted as saying, "The teachings we have in Islam develop, not destroy; they build, not demolish; they build, not demolish; and they facilitate thriving, not extermination.

Meanwhile, in Medina, Sheikh Ali Al Hudhafiy delivered the Friday sermon. The Sheikh spoke about Allah's creation. He was quoted as saying, "Indeed, Allah created this universe and placed in it everything that the people need for thier sustenance, their enjoyment, their luxuries, their adornments, their property and wealth, their animals and vehicles, and other things. Allah created this universe with its perfection and beauty, and made it fulfill all of the necessities of life for everyone who lives on earth."
