See The Bible Passage That Says What Your Tithe Should Be Used For

The issue of tithing has always been a very controversial topic among christians and even unbelievers. This is due to the fact that they have the believe that some pastors are not preaching it in the right way.

The main reason why most people don't buy into the idea of tithing is because they see the lavish lifestyle most pastors live, and also the gigantic buildings of churches, while some of their members who pay tithe are still in poverty.

Recently, the senior pastor of Winners chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo was criticized after he made a statement that "it's impossible to be wealthy without tithing". This didn't go down well with some people, as they asked if wealthy people like Bill Gates pay tithe?

Most pastors prefer to use this bible verse (Malachi chapter 3 verse 8) which says "bring in your tithes into my house that there may be food. If you don't do this, you have robbed me", to preach about tithe.

Nevertheless, see what this bible passage (Deuteronomy chapter 26 verse 12-13) says about what tithe should be used for.

What are your thoughts on this bible passage, have you ever heard a pastor preach about it? Please drop a comment below. Don't forget to like this post and follow me for more articles.
